EPAS GreaseShield Commercial Grease Management System
EPAS GreaseShield is a professional proactive grease management system for commercial kitchens that want to reduce fats, oils and grease before they become a drainage, hygiene and service problem. Choose the clean base model by flow capacity: GS1000, GS1500, GS1850, GS2000, GS3000 or GS4000.
For kitchens where grease problems must be prevented, not only cleaned later
In professional kitchens, fats, oils, grease and food residues enter wastewater every day. Once they cool down inside pipework, they can create blockages, odours, emergency service costs and operational downtime. GreaseShield is designed to manage grease proactively at the source, before the problem moves deeper into the drainage system.
Choose GreaseShield by flow capacity
This product is configured as a clean GreaseShield base line by flow capacity. Pre-filters, drawer filters, stands, advanced solids handling and project accessories are treated as additional options and can be specified separately.
GreaseShield GS1000
Compact base model for lower-flow commercial kitchen wastewater points and smaller food service applications.
GreaseShield GS1500
Mid-range base model for restaurants, cafés, smaller hotels and professional kitchens with moderate wastewater flow.
GreaseShield GS1850
Strong professional option for pot-wash, pre-rinse and busy kitchen wastewater lines with higher daily load.
GreaseShield GS2000
Higher-flow base model for larger restaurants, hotel kitchens, canteens and demanding food service operations.
GreaseShield GS3000
Project-level solution for central kitchens, larger hospitality operations and higher-volume food preparation areas.
GreaseShield GS4000
Large-flow base model for serious commercial kitchen, catering, resort and food production wastewater applications.
Designed for professional back-of-house reliability
GreaseShield is relevant wherever kitchen wastewater carries grease into the drainage system. It is especially useful in locations where a blocked line would interrupt service, create hygiene problems or require emergency cleaning during business operation.
Restaurants & cafés
Helps control grease from washing, preparation and service areas before it creates drainage problems.
Hotels & resorts
Supports breakfast service, banquets, restaurants, staff kitchens and seasonal peak-load operations.
Canteens & institutions
Suitable for staff restaurants, schools, hospitals, public facilities and high-volume daily meal service.
Supermarkets & food retail
Useful for fresh food preparation, deli areas, prepared food counters and back-of-store kitchen operations.
Central kitchens & catering
Helps reduce grease-related risks in high-output kitchens with continuous preparation and washing.
Food production
Can be specified for suitable food preparation and production environments with commercial wastewater flows.
How GreaseShield supports the kitchen
GreaseShield is part of a proactive wastewater strategy. It helps manage grease before it reaches deeper pipework, while additional solids separation can be specified when the kitchen produces a high amount of food particles, peelings, rice, coffee grounds or preparation waste.
Wastewater enters
Kitchen wastewater from suitable sinks, pot-wash areas, pre-rinse zones or equipment lines enters the GreaseShield system.
Grease is controlled
Fats, oils and grease are managed before they cool, harden and accumulate inside the drainage system.
Waste handling improves
The kitchen can reduce odours, service disruption and reactive drainage maintenance caused by grease build-up.
Accessories are added if needed
Pre-filters, FilterShield, stands and project accessories can be specified according to the waste stream and site layout.
Base model first, accessories only where they make sense
For a clean and transparent offer, the main GreaseShield product is configured only by flow capacity. This makes model selection easier and allows accessories to be added later according to the real installation.
Included decision
Choose the correct GreaseShield base model according to flow capacity: 1.0, 1.5, 1.85, 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0 L/s.
Separate project options
Pre-filter, drawer pre-filter, front-loading filter, stand, solids transfer and other project options can be added after technical review.
Optional configurations and accessories
Depending on the kitchen layout and waste stream, GreaseShield can be combined with additional EPAS configurations. These are not part of the clean base line price and should be specified separately during project planning.
PF / PreFilter
Pre-filter configuration for kitchens where solid food particles need to be separated before grease management.
DPF / Drawer PreFilter
Drawer-style pre-filter option for easier access to separated solids in suitable kitchen layouts.
FLF / Front-loading Filter
Front-loading filtration configuration for installations where front access is more practical for daily maintenance.
AST / Automatic Solids Transfer
Option for projects where solid waste handling needs to be more automated or easier to manage.
DW configurations
Project options for suitable warewashing or dishwashing wastewater points, depending on layout and specification.
CRM-4 / Defender / stands
Special configurations, stand-based solutions and additional project accessories for more demanding installations.
FilterShield recommendation
For kitchens with a high amount of food solids, it is recommended to consider EPAS FilterShield before GreaseShield. FilterShield helps separate food solids before wastewater reaches the grease management system, supporting cleaner operation and easier maintenance.
Why it makes business sense
Grease-related drainage problems are expensive because they affect hygiene, service continuity and maintenance planning. GreaseShield helps move the kitchen from reactive drain cleaning to planned grease management.
Project-based selection
The correct GreaseShield model depends on the wastewater source, flow rate, available space, plumbing orientation, solids load, working schedule and maintenance routine. Send us Your kitchen layout, photos of the installation area and the main wastewater points, and we will help You select the correct base model and optional accessories.
