Grind fresh wholegrain flour without electricity.
The HamarMill Tanya Manual Grain Mill is made for homes where fresh flour is part of a slower, more natural kitchen routine. Instead of depending on pre-milled flour or an electric appliance, You can grind whole grains by hand and prepare flour exactly when You need it.
Manual milling gives You a direct connection with the grain. You choose the grain, You choose the fineness and You control the process from start to finish. For home bakers, wholefood customers and families who value simple kitchen tools, Tanya offers a quiet and traditional way to bring fresh flour into everyday cooking.
A traditional hand mill for real home use.
Tanya is built as a practical manual grain mill with a solid beech wood body and ceramic-bonded corundum millstones. The grinding fineness is continuously adjustable, so You can prepare anything from fine wholegrain flour to a coarser meal for rustic recipes.
The mill is suitable for dry grains such as wheat, spelt, rye, barley and similar cereals. It is also designed to handle corn with some limitations: medium-sized corn kernels can be milled more comfortably, while very large kernels can be harder to process manually.
Fully manual milling
Prepare fresh flour anywhere You have a stable table or worktop, without relying on an electric motor.
Fine flour to coarse meal
Set the grinding texture continuously, from fine flour for baking to coarser meal for traditional wholegrain recipes.
Solid beech wood body
The wooden body gives the mill a warm, traditional character while keeping the product stable, practical and durable.
Attach the mill, add grain and turn the handle.
Fix the Tanya hand mill to a stable table or worktop, add dry grain into the hopper and turn the handle. The ceramic-bonded corundum millstones grind the grain into fresh flour or meal, while the manual mechanism keeps the process simple and mechanical.
The output depends on the grain, the selected fineness and the effort of the user. With fine flour, manual milling is slower than electric milling, but that is also part of the product’s character: it is quiet, low-tech, independent and ideal for people who enjoy a more traditional kitchen rhythm.
