BackTpack® Mini is made for young children who are just beginning to carry their own small daily items. Unlike a conventional mini backpack that places the load behind the body, BackTpack® Mini distributes light weight in two side compartments, helping the child stay naturally more upright while walking, standing and moving freely.

Small children should not carry heavy loads. BackTpack® Mini is designed for light daily items up to 1.6 kg, with the focus on comfort, movement and better carrying habits from the beginning. If your child needs to carry heavier items for longer periods, choose one of the more advanced BackTpack® models with padded straps and additional support.

BackTpack® Mini is ideal when a child wants to carry “their own things” without being overloaded: a snack, a small bottle, a soft toy, light clothing, a notebook or personal items for kindergarten, pre-school, visiting family or short family trips.

Mini is intentionally a light-load model
BackTpack® Mini is not made for heavy school loads. For books, heavier daily equipment or longer carrying time, choose BackTpack® School or BackTpack® Premium. Mini is the right choice for small children and light everyday carrying habits.

The compartment height adjusts from 28 cm to 37 cm, so it can adapt to shorter or taller light items.
Chest strap
The chest strap adjusts from 14 cm to 19 cm and helps keep the shoulder straps in place.
